TOOL CLAMPING – BERG GRIPPER SKR
Firstly the Berg Gripper SKR primarily find application for drawing in and ejecting steep taper tooling.
Application – Berg Gripper SKR
Because SKR gripper are primarily for drawing in and ejecting steep taper tooling with retention knobs as per international standards DIN, ANSI, MAS, JIS and ISO which allow fast automatic tool changes.
Also, the SKR gripper has a built-in snap-hold feature allowing a tool to be hold securely in the spindel even in unclamped position. Actuation is mechanical, hydraulic, electro-mechanical or pneumatic.
SKR gripper comprise four clamping segments captively connecting to the draw bolt to ensure easy assembly. They transfer the clamping force positively from the draw bolt to the retention knob.
The snap-hold force is realized by four additional hold segments. It is possible to clamp tool shanks of the same steep taper with retention knobs of different standards using different gripper in a uniformly designed spindle.
Automatic clamping systems for workpieces and tools for machining and forming machine tools, as well as handling them. It belongs to the extensive range of Berg products and services.
Besides the state-of-the art technology alongside a consistent market orientation, comprehensive experience and reliable design are the features which underscore all BERG products in the domestic and international environment.
