Eccentric Compensating Chuck

Power Operated Eccentric Compensating Chuck has been specially designed for machining forgings and black bars between center.

These chucks are essentially designed where the component is located between centres. The chuck has a floating wedge for compensation.

These power operated eccentric compensating chuck are supplied with spring loaded / solid centre / special cover depending on the application

retractable jaw chuck

Power Operated Eccentric Compensating Chuck with three / two retractable jaw chuck permits shafts, bars, forgings to be machined full length in one set up, centre to centre.

In the first operation the component is gripped on the jaws.

In the finishing operation the jaws are retracted and the component is driven by the face driver and OD is machined.

pneumatic front end chuck

Power Operated Pneumatic Front End Chucks are designed to utilise in full, the spindle bore for bar/pipe work.

The actuating cylinder is built into the chuck. This design avoids rear mounting of the actuating cylinder and necessary draw bar connections. The stationary air distribution system is mounted separately on the chuck.

Power operated pneumatic front end chucks have twin non-return valves.

Quick Change Jaw Chuck

Power Operated Hollow High Speed Quick Change Jaw Chuck is designed to reduce the change over time of jaws for different components and is suitable for machining small and medium sized batches.

Base jaw, fitted with top hard or soft jaws are pre-turned or ground to suit different components and kept ready. Whenever the component changes, the corresponding base jaw with top jaws may be replaced in a short time.

Power Operated Hand Indexing Chuck

GMT make Power Operated Hand Indexing Chuck is designed for machining valves, bonnet, etc. with intersecting axes, can be machined in single setup.

Chuck index position:
4 x 90° , 3 x 120° , 2 x 180°

Chucks are actuated by hydraulic cylinder. Indexing by heavy duty manually operated lever. Locking screw is provided for locking the index drum to ensure machining without chattermark.

Power Operated Power Indexing Chuck

Power Operated Auto (Power) Indexing Chucks are used for machining valves, bonnet, universal joints and spider.

Chuck index position:
4 x 90° , 3 x 120° , 2 x 180°

Indexing is done during the rotation of the main spindle. Clamping, Indexing, locking, and de-clamping are performed by hydraulic integral distributor. The component is clamped by moving the lower jaw through an integral cylinder. The upper jaw is stationary.

Finger Chuck

Twist Finger Chuck is ideal for clamping  the component on face with centralized location, where clamping on OD/ID  facilities are not possible.

Typical examples are brake drums and automobile hub wheels.

Chuck has a locator for locating the component. Twist finger chucks cannot perform without locating the component.
