- Commenced the manufacture of Cast Iron Surface plates
- M/s Voltas Limited appointed as Sole Selling Agents for Surface Plates opening up access to the Indian industrial market.
- Commenced manufacture of 3-jaw hand-operated chucks designed by M/s Berg & Company, Bielefeld, West Germany
- Angle Plates, Box Plates and Straight Edges added to product range
- Factory of 6000 sq. ft constructed at Pallikarani Village and the employee strength augmented to 40.
- Captive ferrous foundry established to cater to the internal demand for high quality castings required for the manufacture of Surface Plates, Angle Plates, Box Plates and Straight Edges
